We use personal data only to answer enquiries, provide accounts and vehicle services, process authorised payments, protect the website and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Gloria Motors Services Ltd, trading as CyprusAutoService and Buy Car in Cyprus, at 13 Alexandrou Ypsilanti, Larnaca 6027, Cyprus. You can contact us through the contact page, by telephone or WhatsApp using the official details shown on this website.
2. Personal data we may collect
- Identity and contact details, such as your name, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, language and company details where relevant.
- Account information and authentication records when you create or use an account.
- Vehicle preferences, budget, intended use, selected cars and information you provide in enquiries, forms, AI Car Finder, Telegram, WhatsApp or email conversations.
- Bid, reservation, order, invoice and payment-status information. Card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by us.
- Technical and security data, such as IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, session cookies and logs needed to operate and protect the website.
3. Why we use personal data and our legal bases
- To answer enquiries and take steps requested before a contract, including vehicle search, availability, final EUR price, inspection, bidding and reservation discussions.
- To perform a contract, manage an account, process an authorised deposit or payment and support vehicle purchase, shipping, import, documentation and registration.
- To comply with accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, customs, regulatory and other legal obligations.
- For legitimate interests in website security, service improvement, record keeping, dispute handling and preventing misuse, where those interests do not override your rights.
- With consent where consent is required, for example for optional marketing or non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
5. International transfers
Some technology, vehicle sourcing and logistics providers may process data outside Cyprus or the European Economic Area. Where GDPR requires it, we use an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses or another lawful safeguard.
6. How long we keep data
We keep data only for as long as needed for the enquiry, account or customer relationship, to complete the requested vehicle service, to maintain necessary business and security records, and for any statutory accounting, tax, legal-claim or regulatory period. When data is no longer required, it is deleted or anonymised where reasonably possible.
8. Your data protection rights
Subject to GDPR conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, object to certain processing and withdraw consent. You may also complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
9. AI suggestions and automated decisions
AI Car Finder or bot suggestions are guidance only. They do not make a final decision that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Vehicle suitability, price, availability, bids and purchases require confirmation through the stated process. Do not enter sensitive personal data into an AI chat.
10. Security and children
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no online system is completely risk-free. Our vehicle purchasing and account services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly request personal data from children.
